Central America has been one of the greatest influencers of U.S. coffee tastes and preferences, primarily due to the abundance of coffee and the close proximity. The sometimes volatile political and economic conditions of the region have led to an evolution of thousands of small farmer producers throughout Honduras.
This small farmer scenario leads to a wide range of flavor profiles, but all with a soft body, smoothness, fruity acidity, and a clean and crisp flavor. You will sometimes get hints of tropical fruit, tartness, caramel, and chocolate, with a sweet aftertaste.
