Indonesian Coffee

Our Most Popular Coffee!

MEDIUM ROAST

Another country that the Dutch East Indies Trading Company used as a trade partner and as a result introduced coffee cultivation in the 1700s. Coffee and the island of Java become so synonymous that many people started calling coffee "Java." The cleanest of all the Indonesian coffees, Java coffee is washed processed (not wet hulled like Sumatra) which really makes a difference in the flavor profile.

Cupping Notes: Acidity is low; finish is syrupy and full body. The variety is bourbon, typical hybrids with some catimor.

Grown at 3,000 to 5,000 feet year round, but peaks from March to June.
